Route description

The starting point is situated in the parking at the emtrance of Sinnai, near the cimitery. With the helmets fasted on our head, we begin the route along the city ways that leads us to the old slaughter-house from which start a low slope climp on an asphaltated road. This ways have seen the first ediction of the "Serpilonga" a long distance race that in Dicember has been run by 250 bikers. photo 1 The Mountains that rises in front of us are very high and big and overviews all the south Sardinia, rich in marvelous landscapes. After some short climbs on asphalted road, the road surface became off road and begin a difficult ascent that drive us to "Baccu Scardu" where we turn left across an old metallic bar to a path which climb to a marvelous small valley similar to dolomitic lands. Running on the first harpin bend we arrive near the mountain rock called "Correxerbu" (860) (photo 1). Following the route the ascent became more easy and allows to us to admire the incredible view to the coast of the Gulf of Cagliari. (photo 2) photo 2 After the road climb again an the road surface became very disconnected and tecnical. But we are going to end the ascent near the "Monte Tratzalis (928) where we turn right to run on an off road way whic drive us above the "Correxerbu" and, following on the right, to a short descent and a path that on the rigth again, runs on numerous up and down across the lowland in front of the "P.ta Serpeddi" that lies on a wild a desertic landscape with the high antennas in the sky. (photo 3) At the cross near "Arcu Simeoni", we turn left on an off road that leads us to another cross with an asphalted way that, on the right, arrive at the top of "P.ta Serpeddi" along a very slope climb. We can admire a beautiful circle landscape that overviews all the South Sardinia. (In summer it's very nice to climb on "P.ta Serpeddi" by night!) foto 3 After a break, we come back on the same asphalted way turnig on the right at the second cross, on a descent path that after a cross where we go on the right, clib us to the "Bruncu sa Mola". There begin a very exiting dowhill to a small valley where rises an old shepard bilding from which begin a single track that climbs us (by foot) to the off road way coming from "Genn'e Funtana". We runs very fast along the descent that arrive near "Br.cu Friargiu" where we turn on the right to the lowland called "Pranu Murtas" (625) an to a very slope descent (over 15% slope average) that arrive to the Hause of "M. Arrubiu". We turn left to another dohwhill that follows with noumerous up an down, lowlands, short climbs and funny hiding bends. The off road way ends near "B.cu Mogumu", the top of the Sinnai wood, from which we runs on the asphalted descent that drice us into Sinnai and to the car parck.
