The starting point is situated in the parking of "Arcu e Tidu" (445), near
the Forester Barracks at the entrance of the 7 Brothers Natural Park. It's
easy to reach; driving along the S.S. 125, coming from Cagliari, you must
turn right and cover a few metres.
The air is fresh and clean and we start the run along the asphalted ascent
leading to "Monte Cresia" (650), where a lowland allows to us to admire
the beautiful landscape.
After 5.5 km. we turn left for an off road way which cross a stream
and leads us to "Arcu sa Spina" (700), where the itinerary runs across a
marvelous valley dominated by the Mountain of 7 Brothers.
After a spring we run across "Arcu Curadori" (photo 1) and "Arcu su Crabiolu"
where begin a disconnected and very fun descent that leads us to "Arcu Buddui"
(575). Following on the left, we begin the hard ascent along the stream "Riu Ceraxa",
a very disconnected and insidious slope where sometime we have to use our foot

After the last hairpin bend, the road surface become red. It's the mark of the
ending of the ascent to "Baccu Malu" (1016), one of the 7 brothers that lies just
in front of us. At the fork we turn right to the Forester Barracks of Baccu Malu
where, turning right, a dog (Charlie) and a fawn welcome us.
A few metres far from the Barracks, on the right, there is a view point where we
can admire the green woods and the sea coast of Castiadas.
Just the time for a break and we begin the come back running on the right at the
fork and crossing the mountain pass among the granite rocks of the 7 brothers.
So we begin the descent to the start point. It is a long and quick descent with
a good road surface and we can go very fast!. But it's dangerous, in fact it
is possible to meet forester cars or visitors doing Trekking on foot. It's very
important to be careful on the bends.
We arrive at a metallic bar and we turn right to the asphalted way near the park
of Arcu e Tidu.
